Ayr were too strong for Selkirk in their 47-13 win at Millbrae. Damien Kelly went over for three tries with Jon Crossan, Frazier Climo, Jamie Hunter and Gordon Sykes adding singles. Climo converted six of the tries. Glasgow props Ed Kalman and Hamish Mitchell were on duty for Ayr.
Glasgow Hawks recorded a fine 43-12 win over Edinburgh Accies at Raeburn Place. The visitors tries came from Robbie Hair, Cammy Kerr, and Matt Whittleston with the Gossman brothers scoring three tries between them - two from Craig and one for Kerr. Peter Jericevich added a penalty and five conversions.
West went down to a heavy defeat to leaders Currie at Malleny Park. West forward Elliot McLaren crossed for three tries with Michael Sim adding a penalty but it couldn't prevent Currie ran out 56-18 winners. Glasgow pro Chris Kinloch scored a five-pointer for Currie.
Justin Va'a helped Boroughmuir to a 26-25 win over Dundee HSFP at Meggetland and Calum Forrester played for Stewart's-Melville in their narrow defeat to Heriot's.
