How can Paterson be Scottish Magners player of the year? Surely with Parks scoring 197 points in the league it should be him? Typical SRU. Well done to everyone else.

Patterson's a fair player, but he's no world beater. Parks is a better all round kicker, and player. He topped the point scoring in the Magners League, and his playing ability stood out. Patterson hardly plays in the Magners League, and yet wins the Best Player award. How does that add up? No way. Politics at it again. Parks should have been the man.
