Glasgow Warriors have revealed their brand new kit for the 2017/18 season, with the club tartan featuring prominently.

The retail kit, which has today been unveiled by Scotland internationals Ali Price and Jonny Gray, is available to pre-order now.

Supporters will be able to purchase the kit for the first time at Bridgehaugh in Stirling on Saturday 19 August, ahead of the pre-season fixture against Northampton Saints.

The club will announce a new front of shirt Partner on Monday, which will feature on the front of the shirts the players will wear this season, starting with the pre-season game in Stirling next weekend.

The Glasgow Warriors tartan is included under the collars, on the sleeves and side panels of both the home and alternate shirts.

The black home shirt and white alternate shirt both feature a nod to the history of the club, with the Glasgow District badge once again appearing on the front, whilst the names of those who have made over 100 appearances for the Warriors will surround the player's number on the back.

The Macron logo is on the front right, while the club's badge is on the opposite side and "Whatever It Takes" is once again embroidered in grey letters on the black neck taping inside the polo-style collars.

The home kit is completed with black shorts with tartan detailing and black socks, while the alternate kit includes white shorts with tartan detailing and white socks.

Glasgow Warriors scrum-half Ali Price said: "I love our new kit. It's really comfortable to wear and looks great with the tartan.

"I'm sure our supporters will love it too and I can't wait to see them wearing it around the city."

Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Nathan Bombrys said: "Our partners at Macron have done a great job designing a really attractive kit.

"One of our key objectives was to design a distinctive kit that will help our supporters make a great impression on tour as our traveling away support continues to grow.

"We look forward to seeing our supporters sporting the new Warriors tartan kit at destinations across Europe and now South Africa."

Ross Cook from Macron added: "It's always great working with the Warriors, who have a clear idea of their identity and how their kits and collections can best represent the players and the fans.

"As always we work hand-in-hand with the club, and the Glasgow Warriors tartan is something that just leaps off the page as being a potential fans favourite and it had our designers very excited.

"We look forward to seeing them running out in the new kit in the all Macron friendly match against Northampton Saints."
