Warriors have revealed their new 2021/22 home and alternate kits
Glasgow Warriors have revealed the new 2021/22 home and alternate kits ahead of the new season.

Produced by Macron for the ninth successive season, supporters will get a first glimpse of their side sporting the new kits for the first time at Scotstoun this Friday, as Danny Wilson's men welcome Newcastle Falcons in The Famous Grouse Pre-Season Challenge.

The new home shirt connects the current group of Warriors with those that have gone before, with the names of over 300 former players adorning the jersey.

Sky-blue side panels complement the black jersey, with blue trim also featuring prominently on the shorts and socks to give a sharp new look ahead of the return of fans to Scotstoun.

A brand-new away shirt sees Wilson's men kitted out in a white shirt with sky-blue shoulders and sleeves.

The shirt and shorts also feature a Celtic knot design, with the club's 'Whatever It Takes' motto on the rear of the collar.

The Official Community Partner of Glasgow Warriors, SP Energy Networks, once again feature on the front of both jerseys, along with the emblems of both the club and Macron.

Supporters will be able to purchase the new kits from the official Scottish Rugby Store on Queen Street in Glasgow from 9.00am on Friday 3 September, as well as from the merchandise marquee at Scotstoun on Friday night.

Speaking at the launch, Glasgow Warriors fly-half Ross Thompson told glasgowwarriors.org: "I really love the look of both the new kits. I've always though the Glasgow kits look really slick, and I think this year is one of the best.

"It feels like it's been a long time since we last played a game so I think everyone is champing at the bit the wear the match jersey and get stuck into the season ahead. We had a really good end to last season, so hopefully we can carry that momentum on to this season.

"I'm really looking forward to being able to wear the kit in front of the fans at Scotstoun, too. Like a lot of players, I played my first game for the club during last season where there was no fans at any of the games, but the Scotstoun crowd is something that everyone at the club talks about and the impact it makes. The thought of experiencing that this season is really exciting."
