The 27-year-old tight-head locked Argentina’s scrum in the May wins over Brazil and Chile, and was a key part of the Pampas side which competed against South African teams in this year’s Vodacom Cup, reaching the quarter-finals. At club level, he has been a pivotal figure for Jockey Club Tucuman.
Head coach Gregor Townsend told glasgowwarriors.org: “We’re very happy to be bringing on board another international prop at what is an intense juncture in the season.
“German is a strong scrummager and tackler who will give us an additional option in an area of the team where we have sustained a significant number of injuries.
German said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to join a major European club like Glasgow Warriors. I’ve been really impressed by the facilities at Scotstoun, and I can’t wait to get out on the training pitch with the rest of the squad to stake a claim for selection.”
