Jon Petrie has called on Glasgow officials to end the uncertainty over the coaching situation at Hughenden. "The sooner we can get that sorted then the quicker we can get on with preparing for next season."

Andy Nicol is on course to make a brief farewell appearance in Friday's game with Borders at Hughenden (ko 7.30pm). Andy was suffering from a groin injury, and there were fears he wouldn't be able to make a farewell appearance before the end of the season. However, he has recovered sufficiently to make a brief appearance for the Warriors in what will be his last game before retirement.

David Jordan said: "It is a big occasion for Andy and for Glasgow. Supporters will have a chance to show their appreciation for Andy's contribution to the game."
