Cammy to lead Glasgow

Cammy has a quick trim before leading Glasgow against Ulster
Cammy Mather is back to lead Glasgow in the Celtic Cup semi-final against Ulster - less than a week after playing for Scotland in the World Cup.

Cammy was an ever-present in the Glasgow team this season until he was called up to join the Scotland squad in Australia as an emergency replacement four weeks ago.

After playing as open-side flanker for Scotland against France, Fiji, and Australia, Cammy will be in his usual Glasgow position at blind side.

Cammy's return, with Andrew Wilson stepping down, is among four changes from the team who lost 29-23 to the Warriors at Bridgend last Friday. Graeme Morrison takes over at inside centre from Alan Bulloch, Dan Parks will be at stand-off for Calvin Howarth, and Matt Proudfoot replaces Euan Murray as loose-head prop.

Euan Murray broke his nose in training earlier in the week, and Andrew Kelly returns as back-up prop among the replacements.

Simon Gunn, who, like Matt Proudfoot, has missed the past two matches, has recovered from a leg injury, but he, too, will be on the bench, with Scott Lawson continuing as starting hooker in the absence of Gordon Bulloch.

There was some speculation that Graeme Beveridge would be involved at some stage but Hugh Campbell ruled that out. "Graeme is fit and raring to go but he has not played in match conditions for several weeks. The best thing for him is to be worked gradually back into the squad and then take it from there."

Glasgow Team Rory Kerr, David Millard, Gareth Maclure, Graeme Morrison, Sean Lamont, Dan Parks, Sam Pinder, Matt Proudfoot, Scott Lawson, Lee Harrison, Andy Hall, Nathan Ross, Cammy Mather (captain), Donnie Macfadyen, Paul Dearlove.

Replacements Simon Gunn, Andy Kelly, Joe Beardshaw, , Mark McMillan, Calvin Howarth, Jon Steel.
