Scotland fans watched in stunned silence as their team crashed to a 31-0 defeat but Cammy thinks it's up to the players to help lift the Murrayfield crowd.
"In the first half, we managed to contain them for long periods of time. But that was it. Nothing else. We didn't create any try- scoring chances.
"There was no atmosphere. Normally you can't hear line-out calls at Murrayfield because the crowd is so loud.
"But on Sunday we were having conversations with each other in the middle of the park no problem whatsoever. You could have heard a pin drop.
"That is our fault. It is up to us to give the fans something to shout about."
