Cammy Mather has passed a fitness test and will be at blind side for Glasgow in their Celtic league match against Leinster at Donnybrook tomorrow evening.

Cammy picked up an ankle injury earlier this week but he passed a fitness test in the team run before the squad flew over to Dublin this afternoon.

However, two breakaway forwards have been listed as cover among the replacements – Glasgow Hawks' Steve Swindall and Currie's Jonathan van der Schyff.

Cammy hopes he can reclaim a place in the Scotland squad after forcing himself back over the last year: "It was great to get back involved again and it has been frustrating being out injured. It has been difficult getting it rested properly because of the Heineken Cup demands and the fact we have key back-rowers away with Scotland.

"I wasn't selected for the first Test squad against Australia, even though I wouldn't have been fit for it, and I can't quibble because last week was the first time I felt my form was back to what it was last year. They maybe see me as being too old now and are looking to the next World Cup, but if they're thinking of the 'now' and winning games, then I'm keen to prove I'm still worth a shout."

Glasgow have left a blank at tight head as Euan Murray was sent off while playing in the league match against Llanelli Scarlets at Hughenden last Friday. News from the SRU's disciplinary committee is awaited before Glasgow finalise the team.

Eric Milligan, Hawks' captain, has been called in as front-row cover along with Andrew Kelly. Colin Shaw, will be at full back in the second successive match after making an impressive first league start in the win against Llanelli last week.

Glasgow lost by only one point, 30-31, on their last league visit to Leinster in April last season. "I see no reason why we cannot take a step beyond that after our performance against Llanelli," Hugh Campbell, Glasgow's head coach, remarked after the squad's final session before flying out to Dublin.
