Scotland were successful on the field during their trip north to play the Barbarians at Pittodrie, but Jon Petrie's men were also a big hit off it when they visited the Aberdeen Grammar RFC Mini Tournament at Rubislaw.

JP and seven of his teammates - Glasgow's Andy Henderson, Dan Parks and Euan Murray; Edinburgh's Simon Cross, Hugo Southwell, Dougie Hall and Borders' Kelly Brown travelled along to Rubislaw to help out at the tournament. Over 300 players took part from the mini sections of Aberdeen Grammar, Aboyne, Ellon, Mackie, Garioch, Howe of Fife, Wanderers and Morgan FPs RFCs.

JP and the lads joined in some training session and signed a multitude of autographs for the young rugby players.
