Injury blow for Steve Swindall

Steve Swindall could be out for 2-3 months
Glasgow Warriors flanker Steve Swindall will miss the first couple of months of the Celtic League season after breaking a finger in Saturday's 55-7 win over Rotherham at Hughenden.

Steve had put in an impressive first-half performance for Glasgow, however, after 45 minutes his ring finger was bent back and snapped in a ruck. Glasgow coach Hugh Campbell said: "That will take two or three months to heal. It's a great shame because Stevie has been impressive. He is a completely different shape to last season, thanks to his own efforts and the great work of our fitness team, and he showed today how dangerous he is."
