Dan is looking for another win

Dan's 12 points helped Glasgow to a welcome win
Dan Parks weighed in with 12 points to help Glasgow to a much needed 17-10 win over Llanelli Scarlets at Firhill last night.

"It's been a while since we've won, we'll enjoy this," said Dan.

"Our appetite has always been there - we've come close without finishing things off so it was nice to close it out tonight.

"It's been a frustrating season, but there's one more game to go and we hope to finish with two wins."

Parksy hates losing, and has always had a winning belief. This win would have pumped him up well, and truly. Once the rest of the team psychologically, and positively believes in themselves, and before a game considers that they WILL actually win the game, there'll be no stopping them. Lets hope the new head coach can instill that type of thinking in the men from Glasgow.

Well done Dan, he had a great game with his virtuoso kicking. Lets hope some of his doubters can get back on the side of a true professional.

Didn't he miss a few too?

come on tricky, people always looking for a negative in Parksy. Glasgow would go further without negative support like that. Keep going boys 1 more big win to finish the year off positively good luck.

Next time I'll leave the free speech t-shirt at the website door. Sunday5 said he had a virtuoso kicking game. I disagree. I said he missed a few kicks. He did. It's not being negative it's being very truthful.

Penalties aside, he DID display some virtuoso kicking talent. We would not have won the game without Dan Parks playing at Fly-Half on Friday. I havn't seen a No.10 clear a ball with his left foot, inside his own 22, about 3 yards in from the touchline and drill it back into the opposite 22 in years. His tactical game was superb. End of chat. So you can still wear your 'Free Speach' t-shirt but may I suggest you whack on your 'possative thinking' y-fronts also?

Thanks for the adult orientated response complete with adult orientated spelling mistakes. Your comments have been noted but in all honesty Friday evening's game wasn't exactly action packed and full of riveting stuff.

Well if you have such a dull time when you go to a game, why bother? Dan Parks is a great player but is unfortunatly put under extra pressure by morons like yourself who like nothing more than to point out the short fallings of others and never applaud the good points. Does it make you feel big? Because you look rather bitter. If you would like to see constant wins and perfect penaty kicks may I suggest you emigrate down under? I am sure there are plenty of people who would cheer you on your way.
Now piss off back to the Gunners web-site you muppet.

Thanks for another adult orientated response. No it doesn't make me feel big and no I'm not bitter. He missed a few kicks on Friday night. I've said so. What's wrong with that? I have a season ticket for Glasgow Warriors so why would I go off to an Edinburgh Gunners website? There's plenty other fans steering clear of Glasgow Warriors so would you really miss another one?
