Young Warriors lose out in final

Stephen McColl was in action for a young Glasgow Warriors squad
A young Glasgow Warriors squad lost out to Sale Sharks in the final of the SMC Jenkins & Marr Glasgow City Sevens at Dumbreck.

Several bursts of heavy rain couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of the supporters and players and the crowd at Cartha was treated to some highly-entertaining and exciting rugby.

In the Plate Final Cartha QP ran out winners in a hard fought match against local rivals West Of Scotland.

Jamie Hunter, Ruaridh Jackson, Pat McArthur, Stephen McColl, Cammy Taylor and Andy Dymock definitely played. I think Grant Anderson (Greenock Wanderers) also played and possibly Chris Fusaro (Howe of Fife). Not sure who I've missed.
