THE 1872 CHALLENGE CUP
The 1872 Challenge Cup will be presented to the captain of the winning team by one of two lucky pre-purchase competition winners on the field immediately after the final whistle.
If Glasgow overcome the four points deficit from the previous game, Gregor Wood will present the Cup to Glasgow captain Dan Parks.
If it’s an Edinburgh win, Henry Smith will present the Cup to Edinburgh captain Mike Blair.
Both winners were entered into the competition with all those who pre-purchased a ticket for the game before Friday 28 March along with all season ticket holders.
MATCH PROGRAMME
This week, the Warriors have a bumper 52-page-programme with Johnnie Beattie the man who takes centre stage for the player profile.
The programme will also look into the key match-ups on the field as Scotland’s two professional teams go head-to-head.
Warriors head coach Sean Lineen will give his usual insight and the club’s chief executive, Ian Riddoch, gives his view on his first season in charge.
All 15 Warriors mascots also feature with plenty photos from the first leg of the 1872 Challenge Cup as well as pictures from the Warriors’ win over the Ospreys the last time they were in action at The Arena.
Programmes cost £3 and are available outside the Jackie Husband stand as well as from the Warriors’ store, operated by Greaves Sports, which is located inside the Jackie Husband concourse.
OFFICIAL SHOP
The official Warriors store will be open from 6:30pm selling all the latest Glasgow gear.
