The first 1,000 supporters who enter the Jackie Husband stand will receive a free set of “Thunderstix” to help them make some noise for the Glasgow boys!

Also, one of the oldest trophies in world sport, the Calcutta Cup, will be on display at the north end of the Jackie Husband concourse from 6:30pm until 7.00pm.

Promotional staff will be on hand with Polaroid cameras to take photos for those lucky enough to be photographed with the famous cup.

STANDS IN OPERATION

Please note that an unreserved seating policy will be in operation throughout both stands.

Both the Jackie Husband stand and the North stand are licensed to sell beer, lager, wine and soft drinks. Supporters are asked to drink responsibly.

All bars will open at 6:30pm and supporters may consume their drink in their seat whilst watching the game.

TRAVEL
TRAIN/UNDERGROUND
Supporters making their way by public transport are advised that the ground is most easily accessible by bus or from Kelvinbridge and St George’s Cross Underground stations.

The closest low level train station is Maryhill Station. This station is around a 20-25 minute walk from The Arena.

From St. Georges Cross Underground station: Head North up Maryhill Road until you see the stadium (on Firhill road just off Maryhill road). It should take around 10-15 minutes to walk.

From Kelvinbridge Underground station: Kelvinbridge is slightly closer to The Arena than St Georges Cross.

Go up the stairs/escalators to Great Western Road, cross Great Western Road and turn to your right. Walk only a few metres until you come to North Woodside Road on your left. Walk down that road until you come to Maryhill Road. Turn left along Maryhill Road to get to the ground.

The last train from Glasgow Queen bound for Edinburgh leaves Glasgow at 11:30pm and arrives at Waverley Station at 12:24am.

BUS
The following First bus services stop close to the ground - 8, 16, 18, 61, 109, 119

CAR
Supporters travelling by car are advised to park in one of the streets close to the ground as there is no public parking available at the stadium.

THE 1872 CHALLENGE CUP
The 1872 Challenge Cup will be presented to the captain of the winning team by one of two lucky pre-purchase competition winners on the field immediately after the final whistle.

If Glasgow overcome the four points deficit from the previous game, Gregor Wood will present the Cup to Glasgow captain Dan Parks.

If it’s an Edinburgh win, Henry Smith will present the Cup to Edinburgh captain Mike Blair.

Both winners were entered into the competition with all those who pre-purchased a ticket for the game before Friday 28 March along with all season ticket holders.

MATCH PROGRAMME
This week, the Warriors have a bumper 52-page-programme with Johnnie Beattie the man who takes centre stage for the player profile.

The programme will also look into the key match-ups on the field as Scotland’s two professional teams go head-to-head.

Warriors head coach Sean Lineen will give his usual insight and the club’s chief executive, Ian Riddoch, gives his view on his first season in charge.

All 15 Warriors mascots also feature with plenty photos from the first leg of the 1872 Challenge Cup as well as pictures from the Warriors’ win over the Ospreys the last time they were in action at The Arena.

Programmes cost £3 and are available outside the Jackie Husband stand as well as from the Warriors’ store, operated by Greaves Sports, which is located inside the Jackie Husband concourse.

OFFICIAL SHOP
The official Warriors store will be open from 6:30pm selling all the latest Glasgow gear.
