Tommy looks for Treviso bounce back

Tommy Seymour expects a physical encounter with Treviso
Tommy Seymour says the Warriors will go all out to bouce back from their Heineken Cup disappointment when they return to PRO12 action at the weekend.

Defeats to Northampton and Ulster have left the Warriors with an uphill task if they want to continue their European interest into next year.

But the Warriors have a chance to bounce back when take on Treviso on Saturday and they'll be keen to make it five PRO12 victories on the bounce and maintain their top-three status.

Tommy told the Evening Times: "We can't do anything about the two defeats at the hands of Northampton and Ulster other than learn lessons from them.

"What's vital is that we bounce back in Italy with a performance and result that will help us reclaim the momentum we have lost over the last two games.

"There were positives to take from the Northampton game in particular and the Ulster match. For a start, at Franklin's Gardens we proved against the Saints that when we are playing our best rugby we can get on top of any side.

"Obviously we were unable to maintain that level after the first 35 minutes, but a big part of that was the level of injury we sustained in the back line which caused several of the boys to play out of position.

"Against Ulster it was much the same. We were very competitive throughout the first half and then again injury had us lose another two guys in the backs and we struggled a bit with the disruption.

"All our focus has got to be in going and getting the win we need. I played in the fixture with them over there last season and it was a really tough, physical encounter and it will be the same again on Saturday.

"On top of that they beat us at Firhill in the first game with them last time around so we must be totally focused."
