Byron McGuigan and Mark Bennett scored tries in Stirling County's 28-27 win over Aberdeen at Rubislaw. EDP duo Adam Ashe and Sean Kennedy also turned out for County. Scott Wight kicked a conversion for Aberdeen but had a difficult afternoon with the boot.

Rory Lamont went over for a try in Dundee's 35-12 win over Currie at Malleny Park. Taylor Paris was another Warrior included in the Dundee squad.

James Johnstone got on the scoresheet for a Currie team that also featured his EDP colleague Jonny Gray.

Finn Russell kicked a penaly and two conversions as pacesetters Ayr saw off Melrose 32-24 at Millbrae. Nick Campbell and Murray McConnell were included in the Ayr squad.
