Mike added to his credits with a Scotland sevens debut in December 2006 in the Dubai tournament which kicked off the IRB’s 2006-2007 world series. In the subsequent tournament in George, South Africa, he scored half of Scotland’s 60 points with four tries and five conversions.
He helped Glasgow Hawks to National Cup victory and was named Scotland's 7s Player of the Year in 2007.
Mike is a former pupil of Dollar Academy and has been studying at Glasgow University.
He has also represented Scottish Schools at under-16 level and Scotland at under-18A. His brother, David, has played for Scottish Schools at U19.
