Rory back to face Cardiff

Rory Kerr is back in action for Glasgow on Friday.
Rory Kerr has been selected at full-back for Glasgow's opening Celtic League clash with Cardiff at Hughenden this Friday (ko 7.30pm).

Rory was released from the international squad preparing to take on Ireland on Saturday.

"I haven't played much at full back," Rory admitted today. "But I'm really looking forward to Friday."

"We're delighted that Rory's back involved with Glasgow," Hugh Campbell, Glasgow's head coach, commented.

"It was a difficult team to choose," Campbell pointed out. "There were a lot of good performances in the build-up."

Glasgow: Rory Kerr, Jon Steel, Graeme Morrison, Joe Naufahu, Gareth Maclure, Calvin Howarth, Sam Pinder, Euan Murray, Simon Gunn, Matt Proudfoot, Andy Hall, Nathan Ross, Cameron Mather (captain), Donnie Macfadyen, Paul Dearlove.

Replacements: Scott Lawson, Lee Harrison, Joe Beardshaw, Roland Reid, Kenny Sinclair, Alan Bulloch, Sean Lamont
