Glasgow boss Hugh Campbell has countered comments made by Bedford chief Rudi Straeuli over the signing of utility back Leigh Hinton.

Hugh swore the English First Division's top marksman had signed for the Warriors but Straeuli was adamant the player is staying put.

He said: "Leigh has not signed with Glasgow and I don't think he wants to leave here. Agents can spin stories and make things up."

But Hugh said in today's Daily Record: "The Hinton deal is signed and sealed. He is definitely coming to join us in the summer. The whole process has gone through the correct channels at Murrayfield."
