Kicking off at 7pm, the match will consist of four twenty minute sessions and both coaches admitted that they were looking forward to the clash.
"We are really pleased that Ayr offered us this opportunity to continue our build up to the regular season," said Warriors coach Hugh Campbell. "We will be bringing all our fit players and hope that everyone will have some useful game time to make it another important part of our pre-season build up."
"It will be a really exciting night for our squad," said Ayr coach Craig Redpath. "The fact that Glasgow are bringing a full squad will make it a real test for our players and it is a great opportunity for us to see where we are in our own preparation."
"Hopefully this will be the start of a good working relationship with Glasgow and in fact we will have two of the Glasgow squad turning out for us on Monday with Eddie McLaughlin on the wing and James Eddie at lock. We will also have a triallist at full back with Nathan Tatai, who has been playing in Ireland, having a run at No15."
