Sean ready for re-match with Saracens

After results this afternoon, it is confirmed that Glasgow will travel back to Watford for the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

Glasgow Warriors will travel to Saracens in the European Challenge Cup quarter-final.

The Warriors clinched their place in the last eight with a 6-6 draw against the Vicarage Road outfit on Friday night.

Glasgow were unfortunate to miss out on a win at Saracens in October in Pool Two as the English side claimed a 28-23 triumph in October.

But now the sides will line up against each other again in the quarter-final which will take place on the weekend of March 31 and April 1.

And Warriors head coach Sean Lineen is hoping the game will prove to be third time lucky for his side against the north London club.

Sean told the official Warriors website: "Obviously, we know each other’s game and they will be familiar opposition. It is something to look forward to.

"But we have a few games coming up in the Magners League before then which we have to focus on.

"We have lost one and drawn one against Saracens so far this season, so it is about time we won one against them.

"We were narrowly beaten 28-23 at Vicarage Road in October so it is up to us go there and claim the win."

I'm sorry to say the only away games I've attended have been in Scotland. Wild horses couldn't keep me from this one though! I hope a good few Weegies shall be there for company.

Yes I believe 3 of us are going to London now for the weekend. Vicarage Road is a long way from London town but I think we'll stay in a B&B in the Paddington area. Flights are approx £55 return (tax inc.)

Watford are at home to Chelsea on the evening of 31st March. So It looks like a Sunday April 1st game for us. I'll definately be taken the trip along the M4 again. Lets hope it is drier than both games so far.

Watford is not far at all from London - about 20 or 30 minutes by train if I remember - I was there at the last game (which we should have won). The ground is only a 10 minute walk from the station. So no excuses for not being there...

The train from London Euston to Watford Junciton takes 15-20 minutes, depending on whether it stops on en route.

It's a 15-20 minute walk from the station to the ground, but the Druids is just around the corner and is worth a visit.

Would there be any demand for a bus for supporters? Or would people think it is to far to go by bus?

And what about tickets for the match?
