Colin Gregor starts for Glasgow
Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen has confirmed his side to face Connacht in the final game of the 2008/09 Magners League season at Firhill tomorrow night (ko 7.45pm).

“For us this is the biggest game of the season,” said Sean, “and it’s important we finish this season with a win in front of a home crowd.

“Looking to the future, I’m really excited by the young players coming through and the attitude and enthusiasm they’ve brought to the team.”

With Max Evans ruled out in the centre, versatile back Hefin O'Hare steps up to the plate.

Meanwhile, Max's younger brother Thom has pulled out having suffered a minor calf tweak during training. Thom is replaced by fellow Scotland 7s internationalist Colin Shaw.

Colin Gregor is promoted to the starting scrum-half berth whilst in the pack, prop Kevin Tkachuk is preferred to Jon Welsh and young lock Richie Gray is handed his first start on home soil.

In the back-row, James Eddie returns in place of Opeta Palepoi at blindside flanker and Kelly Brown switches with Calum Forrester to line-up at openside and No.8 respectively.

Sean says this is the biggest game of the season which is surely a bit over the top!

With Ulster and Scarelts playing we cant make 6th, a win against Connacht should be enough to secure 7th. A loss and a Dragons win and we could end up 9th!

Good to see Gray playing!

Well done Ritchie - long overdue a start I reckon. He'll be a seriously good player down the line but really needs to get the speed of the game at this level. For next year it looks like he'll be Plan A, B and C in 2nd row as we don't seem to be trying to sign anyone there.

Is Budgie getting the start ahead of McMillan for his kicking?

.. or also because he's been the better scrum half this year? ;)
