Coutts trains with Glasgow

John Coutts has been invited to train with Glasgow
Former Hawick full back John Coutts has been invited to train with Glasgow Warriors.

The 21-year-old, who was one of the star players in Hawick's disappointing campaign, left Mansfield Park at the end of the season for a spell in New Zealand.

But his quick return has prompted rumours of a trial with the Warriors.

However, a spokesman for the Scottish Rugby Union told the Hawick News this week: "Sean Lineen has simply invited him to train with the squad when convenient and on an adhoc basis - nothing more."

Can we please look at Scott Wight and Rob Harley while we're at it? The first is the outstanding outhalf in that league, the second has immense potential.
