The Glasgow Hawks fly-half turned out for Scotland U20 earlier this season and was outstanding for Scotland U19 in their victories over their Italian and French counterparts.
Scotland will play pool matches against Australia in Santa Fe on Saturday 5 June; against South Africa in Santa Fe on Wednesday 9 June; and against Tonga in Parana on Sunday 13 June.
Fears that Glasgow’s bid for a home semi-final in the Magners League play-offs could be derailed by fixture problems involving the Ospreys have ended. Both the key games for the two clubs will be played at the same time on Friday night.
