Glasgow team to face Wasps

Federico Aramburu starts at outside centre
Glasgow have named their team to face Wasps in Sunday's Heineken Cup match (ko 1.00pm).

Colin Shaw and Hefin O'Hare start on the wings in place of Alex Dunbar and DTH van der Merwe Frederico Aramburu will start in place of Max Evans who is out for one week with a slight calf strain.

In the pack Richie Vernon replaces John Barclay who is rested while Ryan Wilson will start at No 8 instead of John Beattie who is ineligible.

Glasgow coach Sean Lineen said: “In the first game away against Wasps we didn’t do ourselves justice, especially in defence. They have half a dozen British Lions in their team so we’ll need to defend well and get the crowd behind us – every team wants to win their home games and our recent loss to Toulouse at Firhill wasn’t acceptable.

“Obviously physicality of this match is going to be huge. They make you work for every metre and their set-piece is exceptional, with a lot of experienced players, so we’re going to have to go into the game with a lot of energy and accuracy, make it difficult for them to defend and get momentum in attack.

“The gain line is going to be a real battle.”
