An update from Glasgow Warriors

Guinness PRO14 have announced the weekend of Saturday 22 August will be targeted as the date for the 2019/20 PRO14 season to restart across all five competing territories.

Glasgow Warriors will play Edinburgh in two consecutive derby games in Rounds 14 and 15. These are anticipated to be played at BT Murrayfield and behind closed doors, with Scotstoun Stadium still closed due to government restrictions. These two games will count towards final positions and cut the regular season from 21 game rounds to 15.

The two teams who finish at the top of their conferences will qualify for a semi-final stage in order to compete for places in the final.

An update on outstanding 2019/20 Season Ticket Membership and Match Ticket fees will be communicated to supporters later today.

2019/20 Abbrevuiated Season Proposed Game Rounds

- Round 14: Saturday 22 August
- Round 15: Saturday 29 August
- Semi-Finals: Saturday 5 September
- Final: Saturday 12 September

Heineken Champions Cup Qualification

PRO14 Rugby has agreed that rankings for European qualification for the 2020/21 season will be decided on the conference table positions from Round 13. The clubs current third place has put Glasgow Warriors in position to compete in the top flight European competition in 2020/21.
2020/21 Guinness PRO14 Season

Planning for the 2020/21 Guinness PRO14 season has begun, with Saturday 3 October identified as the provisional date for Round 1.

Information will follow in the coming weeks about the options available to supporters for the 2020/21 season.
