"We have got a couple of injury worries that could well force us to make some changes but a tournament like this is all about using your squad and having the necessary strength in depth.
"Alan Solomons is an excellent coach and Ulster are a most impressive outfit. They will be disappointed with their result against the Ospreys and will be a very difficult proposition for us on the back of that performance.
"The big plus for me is the way the squad have gelled together as a group. That was our main priority in preparing for the tournament and the way it has happened has been a huge boost for everyone."
Glasgow's Andy Henderson believes the clash with Fiji in the Rugby World Cup is vital to Scotland's hopes after their build-up was left in tatters after two heavy defeats to Wales and Ireland. "The public will see the French game as the important one for us in the World Cup,' he commented.
"But Fiji are very, very dangerous. Anybody who was here for the Autumn Internationals last year could have seen what a threat they pose and if we want to make it to the knockout stages they will be a major hurdle."
