In Ally Kellock's absence, James Eddie will have the chance to step up
During the 2007 Six Nations tournament, the younger Warriors squad players will get their chance to step up, and Sean Lineen thinks this will benefit the Glasgow squad, as well as the players themselves.

With the start of the Six Nations now less than a fortnight away, Sean looks set to lost the core of his squad to international duty - but the former Scotland cap says that he is happy to make do with those players who are not involved in the Scotland squad during the next two months.

"One of my jobs is to get as many players from Glasgow as possible into the international set-up and I'm happy with that," he insisted. "We've got a great group of young Scottish players here and I want to see them all go on and achieve everything they can in the game."

"It is easier to develop a pessimistic outlook, but I'd rather be a glass half full kind of guy. Losing guys to the national squad gives us the opportunity to bring through more young players."
