Sean Lineen says the result at Ravenhill was his most satisfying as a coach
Glasgow top the Magners League going into the Christmas and New Year period and Sean Lineen says his men are determined to stay there.

The Glasgow coach is well aware of what happened last season when the team made a strong start only to fade in the second part of the campaign and is determined it will not happen again.

“I sense there is a difference now,” he said in the Times. “The players are a year older, I am a year more experienced as a coach and you learn all the time, particularly when things don’t go well. We are not going to take our foot off the gas at all. If anything we will step it up, the supporters deserve that. The belief is there, and the guys are determined to play good rugby.”

Sean also paid tribute to the role Dan Parks played in the 25-13 win over Ulster in horrendous conditions at Ravenhill - a result the coach said was "The best away game, the most satisfying I have had as a coach."

Twenty points from Dan's boot leaves him only five points short of becoming the first player to reach 1,000 points in the Celtic competition.

“When you play like that in those conditions, I don’t think there is a better No 10 in Europe,” said Sean. “He was outstanding, it was a masterful kicking display.”
