Eight Glasgow Warriors are among seventeen players named in the Scotland A squad to prepare for the game against Irish Wolfhounds at Netherdale, Galashiels on Friday 28 January (ko 7.30pm).

Some players from the Scotland RBS 6 Nations Championship squad will also be part of the Scotland A team. An announcement on players who will join up with the A squad will be made early next week.

Scotland coach Andy Robinson has already confirmed that Johnnie Beattie, who missed the first half of the season due to a shoulder problem, will play in the Scotland A match.
