The Titans cruised to a 56-10 win over Coventry and Stuart made a solid start in his first outing at the Earth Arena.
Stuart wants to use his loan spell at the Earth Arena to prove himself after six months of injury frustration.
A series of knee injuries has disrupted his progress since he broke into the Glasgow Warriors side last season and he jumped at the chance to play first team rugby with the Titans.
"I have played for Scotland Under 21s with Neil Cochrane and he put me in touch with Andre Bester to arrange the loan," said Stuart on the Rotherham website.
"National One rugby is quick and very physical and I want to prove that I can compete with the best.
"It's a week to week arrangement but I want to win promotion as much as all of the other players in the squad."
Meanwhile, a former Glasgow favourite could be in line for a surprise move to Newcastle Falcons. Tommy Hayes has been offered a trial with Newcastle after training with them for the past week.
Tommy, who has also played with Glasgow Hawks and Bristol will play in tonight's Guinness A League trip to another of his former clubs, Worcester Warriors. Falcons director of rugby John Fletcher said: "It will be a good chance for us to have a look at Tommy in a game situation.
"He has been with us for the past week, and there is the possibility he might stay with us for longer."
