With these photos, there is no doubt that an extremely warm welcome will be extended to our newest Warrior, Thom Evans.

Not only does he have a boyband on his CV, but it looks like he can also include a stint as a Chippendale on his previous employment!

However, some of our other Warriors may feel the pressure of Thom's arrival - will they be able to compete with this level of competition?

As you all know, we are not interested in hearsay or rumours here at glasgowwarriors.com (ahem...) but there is some speculation on the Wasps' supporters website that Mike Roberts, last season's signing from their team, is about to be joined by his ex-colleague, Thom Evans.

To save you the bother of a Google search, we thought we would carry out some research, and were most amused by what we found!

Last year, Thom had to make the decision to concentrate on his rugby, having had a previous career in music. He was a member of Twen2y 4 Se7en, a boyband who were the support act for the likes of Westlife and Peter Andre (from the sublime to the ridiculous you might say!)

The winger said: "I had a great time and fun with all the groupies but it's 100 per cent rugby now and Wasps are a great club.

"There was a bit of success and the rest of the band are still going on and doing well.

"It was tough because I had to give rugby up for a whole year to concentrate on the band which was really tough because the World Cup was on at the time.

"But I had a great time and I don't really regret it.
